Words from the Lord for 2025

Consecrate: Devote yourselves to prayer. Leviticus 20:7 - Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.

Joshua 3:5 -Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” Put our hope and expectations in Christ. Focus on Him and the work of the Lord.

Sincerity – 2 Corinthians 1:12. Sincerity implies the idea of being found unstained when examined in sunlight. Reliability. Pure in character when under the searching gaze of God. The quality of being free from pretense, deceit or hypocrisy…. genuine.

In John 17, Jesus is praying in the garden and asking the Father what His church should look like. He wants us to know Him and make Him known. Unified. Focused on biblical truth. Discipling each other. Being sent out.

Believed. Thomas believed Jesus after he put his hands in His wounds. “Blessed are those who have not seen and still believe.” We are so blessed. How is your faith for this year?

Restoration

Going deeper daily. More hunger. Running with endurance the race He set.

Truth. Truth of the Word and of God.

Hope. We need hope with Jesus.

Peacefulness. Church brings peace. So much nourishment here. Fill up with peace.

Chosen. We are chosen by God. He puts in us all we need, for all we are going to face. Trust in Him.

Missions. Seeing what the persecuted church goes through. I sought the Lord and He heard. Thankful for the steadfastness and faithfulness of Dave and Shorty.

Alive in 2025. Physically and in the Lord.

Challenge to all. Get out of the way. His will, not ours.

Expecting. Leave the past behind. Broken chains. Jesus changes us. Brings us back and removes the spirit of fear. Become Bold!

Thankfulness.

Prayer. God’s plan and our church.

Good. Bad. Ugly. Through prayer, He answers. Are you living for the Kingdom of God?

Be patient wherever you’re at. Just keep going. He’s alive! Prayer – talk with the Lord. He will show up!

Get lean and Strong in Faith. Lay down the heavy things – get stronger.

Choices. Choose Him first. Allow Him to work through us. Recognize things that affect others. The choices we make are huge in us.

He gives us power, love and a sound mind. Lots of things weigh on us. Dig deep in the well of God. Skim the Word.

Isaiah 58:10-11…. You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

Forgive others.

Unoffendable by Brant Hanson. We are broken. Words hurt. Forgiveness is necessary.

Grateful for Christ. We are imperfect -faulty. Create to cause reform. Renew.

Connect with people. If you wrestle with surrender or feel abandoned, you must lay down things and walk away.

God shows us “How to Be.”

God gives miracles. He restores and helps us recover.

Be obedient and act quickly. Hearing the Lord is a prerequisite.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Peace from God defies human logic. We must anchor ourselves in the Prince of Peace.
