WHY WE EXIST

To glorify God through loving and making disciples of all people.

OUR VALUES:   ACTS 2:42-47

PROCLAIMING GOD’S WORD (V.42)

PRAYER AND COMMUNION  (V.42, 46)

PRAISE AND WORSHIP (V.42)

PROVIDE FOR THOSE IN NEED (V.44)

PURPOSE TO MULTIPLY (V.47)

THE GOSPEL

We believe that all people are by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but salvation and forgiveness through the shed blood of Jesus Christ have been offered to all by His grace. By repenting from sin and receiving Him as Lord and Savior, that person is instantly born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. That person becomes a child of God and a part of the Body of Christ and will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord.

THE SCRIPTURE (The Bible)

 ABOUT GOD

God, the Father is the one and only, living and true God, revealed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe Him to be the personal, transcendent, sovereign Creator, and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

The Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, became the atonement for our sins by his death on the cross, was resurrected, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and lives to make intercession on our behalf.

 ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is a divine person equal with God the Father and Jesus the Son, and of the same nature; that He bears witness to the Truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony, that He endues, empowers, guides, teaches, convicts, sanctifies and helps the believer.

ABOUT GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT:

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures and believe they are applicable for us today. They should be exercised within biblical guidelines and the very foundation for their use is based on love and unity. We as believers are to earnestly seek the gifts for the purpose of glorifying God and building up the body of believers.

 ABOUT SATAN:

We believe the devil or Satan was once a good and great angel that through his own ambition rebelled against God and fell from heaven with a third of the angelic host; that he is the enemy of God and the tempter of man; he is the prince of the power of the air. He will one day experience his final defeat at the hands of the Son of God and eternal judgment in hell, a place prepared for him and his angels.

 ABOUT THE CHURCH

We believe the Church to be a gathering of Christ’s followers, who through worship, the teaching of the Word of God, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, purpose to know Him and fulfill the call of the Great Commission.

We believe in water baptism and Communion, or the Lord’s Supper as ordinances of the church; water baptism as immersion in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and is symbolic of His death, burial, and resurrection, and Communion in remembrance of His death, resurrection and His second coming.
